Lindsay Smith's students are practicing several OTR techniques (cooperative structures) with her students during this interactive lesson.
Today, Mrs. Scott's students learned how to use the voice typing tool in Google docs, and learned how to use the camera to take a picture of themselves with original artwork.
Mrs. Smith does some amazing things with her Kindergartners. The image on the left shows what a Kdg student did with Google Drawings and Google Slides. The student first logged into the Chromebook, opened up Google Classroom, opened a file, and manipulated Google Drawings by dragging fall leaves onto the tree. Then student made a bar graph and filled in cells to represent how many of each color were added to the tree. Finally, the student filled in the math problems with numbers of leaves. Just AMAZING! They practiced multiplication facts and loved this method of study!!
